well everbody, i just downloaded sabayon 3.2 (a live dvd) and burned it to dvd, and i must say, i was a little disappointed when it wouldn't boot on my two main rigs, but one thing that both supprised and impressed me is that it works (almost) perfectly on my MacBook Pro, the only thing that doesn't work are the ati drivers (which kinda sucks), but everything else works perfectly on boot, it detected my wireless network, detected my screen resolution properly(1440x900), sound works, and all my little powersave bells and whistles work except for screen brightness.

it even runs fairly fast.

anyway, if anybody is looking for a decent distro to try on their MBP, this is by far the best luck i have had on this linux forsaken machine.
