    audigy 2 installation w/o rebooting

I need to do this due to a problem that's cropped up recently, I need to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the card without rebooting. Failing that, at least being able to not use the SB driver disc, which is a real, real pain. Any ideas?

Well, you can definitely not use the disc....just goto soundblaster.com and download the drivers from there. But as far as rebooting goes....I don't think you'll get away without that one.

Yup you definatly need a reboot if you want ot use the sound drivers. If not mistaken it installs some drivers on reboot.

My guess would of been a server but then again now thinking of it why would even a server need a sound card. Are you doing this driver update on a computer your not even next to?
