is it possible to watercool my processor, graphic card and maybe chipset in my Antec super lanboy??
i have a super lanboy, DFI nf4, opteron 148, x1900xtx.
is it possible? how should i set it up?
what should i get?
From the pictures it’s pretty easy to tell that you’ll never get a double radiator inside the case. It's way too long.
The aluminum sheet used in the Super Lanboy is very thin and flexible. My first bit of advice is to not cut anything apart. That case needs all the structural strength it has.
If you don’t want to use an external radiator, you could put your hard drive in the floppy drive bay, remove the hard drive trays, and you should have enough room to install a radiator and fan in the hard drive area. That’s the only way I can see to setup the radiator inside the case so that it gets cool, outside air. You will have to fabricate a simple mechanism to hold down the radiator/fan assembly.
You can also attach a radiator to the 120mm exhaust fan. Not as good as getting cool air in, but much simplier...just screw it on. You’ll need to get some fan screws to screw the fan to the case. I don’t think those nice rubber fan mounts will be strong enough to hold up a radiator full of water.
As for pump and res, I’m partial to the Swiftech MCRES-1000P, which puts the res and pump in a 5 1/4“ bay. No holes to make and nothing to screw down.
Pick parts seperatly. Kits are terrible. If your going to buy a kit, buy one of these http://www.petrastechshop.com/wacoki.html
Its basically a kit of handpicked items. No thermaltake crap.
