i845 MB question.

Since I am the poor soul, that I am, I was wondering if there is any way to use ddr ram for i845. I heard something about intel shipping i845 with ddr compatibility. Does this mean, only the mb past that date will have compatability?

(Unfortunately, I know little about hardware, and very desperate with getting better ram for my P4.)

if you have already bought this motherboard, then i am sorry, you cant, but the i845 variant with DDR will be coming out in Q1 2002, sorry, but intel is very good at locking things so noone can change it...
