I have a swiftech waterblock cooling my Athlon 64 chip. I'm not sure what the model number of the block is, I can't find the receipt from when I bought it. It was a pretty popular one a few years back, hopefully some of you guys will recognize it in the attached picture. I was wondering if anyone has tried making a top plate so that this block will fit a socket 775 motherboard? Any comments would be appreciated. Trying to keep the cost down on a new rig.

It looks like a MCW6002. It could be a 6000 though. depending on your tubing. It should fit if u still have your other brackets. the pent 4 brackets r 775

Thanks for the link jopapa. I only have the socket 939 bracket, maybe I can buy the 775 bracket by itself.

You can try contacting swiftech directly.

If you have the MCW6000 they have brackets all the way at the bottom...so you can buy it from them directly.

What tubing do you use? if its 1/2" then its a 6002 i BELIEVE. I'm not sure, can someone verify this?

I have the mcw6002, this block is for 1/2" tubing. I ordered the 775 hold down kit directly from Swiftech. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
