    8600 ultra is gonna be awesome for so many people. I am gonna use the crap out of that card for builds.

    I personally doubt it due to the specs they are releasing on them. Lower bit memory and lower clocks, however they will still be a great deal for the medium price range.

    well thats why SLI has always been usless to me and this is a good example, 2x8600 = probably 350 or one 8800gts 640mb = 350....

    one 8600ultra will be hard to beat for the price for what it offers though.

    If the rumored specs are correct, how would these two cards compare to a 7900gs?

    the 8600ultra should be same speed as 7900gtx or faster with dx10 conformance
