VID - 1.3250v

Max overclock on stock voltage - 3.0 ghz (334*9)

Will update MAX OC as I find my ceiling.

opps noticed i left something out, check first post... did you get yours oem or retail?

going to add mine but i cant get it to work in the ab9 mobo i have, hopeing to get around 3.2ghz if possible.

OEM-Fry's
SSPEC: SL9TB
PLANT: MALAY
BATCH#: Q641A268
CPU-VID: 1.325v

max oc on stock-v: 2.8ghz (315fsb) cpu-v read as 1.33 in uguru
max oc oc cpu: 3.3ghz (367fsb) bios set to 1.625v, uguru 1.59-1.61
AB9-pro(has max fsb of 396mhz) bios 1.6
MCH-V=1.35v
ICH-IO=1.55v
cooling: NINJA HS

*notes*
to get 3.4ghz stable i would have to use more then 1.7v in bios to get it stable. the last 13mhz to reach 380mhz required to much voltage to justify the oc. the voltage droop from idle to full load on both core is a .03v drop. which meant i had to raise the voltage more to get say 1.55v i would have to use 1.575v.

OEM
sspec N/A
plant it is from N/A
batch code N/A
N/A because the writing was so faint I couldn't read it.

coretemp VID of the cpu 1.325

max oc reached on stock-v. 2250
max oc of the cpu havn't tried yet.
mobo used and voltages for cpu/mch/ichio. Abit QuadGt. 1.325Vcore, stock Vmch, stock Vich, stock Vfsb.
Cooling SI-120 with Cooler Master 120mm Aluminum fan.

Seems I took one for the team, I tried getting 260 FSB with no luck, kept rebooting. Went abck tot he BIOS upped the Vcore and it kept doing it at one time it said OS was corrput. Lowered it back to 250FSB and was good to go.

wicked do a quick check, run orthos while at 250. watch uguru see how bad is the v-droop is on that board would ya? i had to up the bios v to 1.35 to get closer to the actual stock-v of the cpu.

Hmm, first post in over 5 years now :)

Just a quick question,

it seems that the SL9TB stepping core2duo e4300's are a bit of a dud, can anyone confirm?

the sspec is not what you go by on intels... its the batch code... and its hit or miss with the lower end E4xx line.....but if i had better cooling 3.4ghz on mine would be no problem.

things have changed since my last cpu(pentium 3 tualatin) then :D

Mine is an L650C652 fpo/batch number, and was packed on the 11/04/2007
and appears to be an L2 core stepping

yea week 50 cpu , not sure about that week havent seen any at 50.

No prob, lets just hope Uguru works for me.

Hey, I has to struggle with my quadgt a bit.

Start by making sure the heatsink is on right. Flash bios 1.1 from the global ABIT site (www.abit.com.tw) - clear cmos. Load failsafe defaults in the bios (reboot). Then turn off all the "CPU features" in the bios. Raise the MCH volts one step. Run 1066 strap and 533 buss speed (1:1). Start overclocking.

Hope this helps.
