Like the title implies, please list your motherboard if, and only if it is Truly stable using an XP processor. Give the following specifics:

1) Make and Model of Mobo
2) Bios revision
3) Multiplier and FSB
4) Vcore and VIO
5) Pertinent memory settings (R & W) in 6-2-2-2/4-1-1-1 type format
6) O.S.
7) What programs used to verify stability P95, 3DMK2K1, etc.

Save bandwidth wherever possible. No screen shots. No Egos. No who has the biggest Johnson contest. :D No page and a half sigs, just the facts. Lets show we can be scientific, albeit anecdotal.

Thanks

Hoot

I just put this system together.......

Asus A7V266-E
Athlon 1800 with the fsb set to 145 and running at 1.61

ATI Radeon 8500 (retail)

768 megs of Crucial

Creative Audigy sound card.

Windows XP

2 TDK burners

Pioneer 116 DVD drive

3Com Nic

a zip and an elcheapo a drive...

Not a hicup...I've got it to run stable at an fsb of 150 no problem, but one of my burners hicups.

I've not had one blue screen yet! This board rocks.

Hey 3beanlimit, nice overclock, but did you do memory benchmarks on that overclock? You will find that your memory performance will decrease when you overclock the fsb on the A7V266-E. That is why I dont overclock mine. I dont need a performance decrease. I tried and my memory benches went from 133 fsb 860/908, to 145fsb 760/858. It looks like Asus is saying "You ain't overclocking our boards". Let me know what your benches are!

Sorry I have been away a while, but what's a typical FSB rate for these? 211 was not serious right :)?

Yo

216 is mighty serious, the BIOS does 210, and CPU FSB takes the extra stride. You have to run the memory at 3/4 the RAM speed (BIOS option), and have a good power supply to run the Northbridge so fast.
