you can find cheap ide (maybe even sata now) cards that plop right on pci slot and away you go.
they are pretty much plug and play from what i remember and are easily less then $30...
you just tell the bios to disable the onboard; boot off the controller card and away you go.
(sounds too easy, did i forget something?)

Conroes are in the planning stages. 
I've been chopping up a ThermalTake case reciently getting it ready to accept
some of the H2O stuff I'm using on the 805.
Gotta get this one side job finished so I can get paid on it.
It's taken 4 weeks so far due to lousy weather. (wind/cold/rain some days)
Blah blah blah...

It's been fun so far Spion. You're gonna leave me in the dust, z0ne is keeping up well, and jws is right on our tails!! I see Shellnutt back there flashing his brights again, but I guess the Cheesey Poofs I've been throwing at him have been working. He must be stopping & eating them, otherwise he'd be by me now.
