Hey i just set this rig up on saturday and i havent really had a chance to really burn this thing in. the cpu has a month or so of run time but the other components are new.

Should i let this thing chug along for a week or so before i should start ocing or is it set to go out of the box?

also anything i should know about these components before i let her rip.

Burn-in has never been proven to do anything. There are just as many people that OC the first day a rig is built as people that 'burn-in' a rig.

Personally I give a new rig a few days to make sure it's stable and all before I OC. If components are going to fail, the usually do in the first 48 hours.

It's ultimately up to you to do what you think is best for your rig. If you want to OC it, I say go for it.
