I have my E6420 8x425 @1.5v in windows using clockgen with Prime95 stable for 15 minutes. Bios was at 8x415 at the time and when I changed it to 8x425 in bios Windows won't boot. Any ideas?

Is it only windows? or will it not boot period? I would first try reseting the BIOS manually using the jumpers.

Also you should try overclocking from the BIOS always unless you do not have the option.

I have a P5B-Deluxe with Crucial PC2-8000 DDR2. Computer boots but Window doesn't. So basically... not enough voltage for that speed?

when windows fails for me on an overclock, its because i didn't give it enough voltage, or my memory timing were to tight for my OC.

so i am assuming that your ram is at 825 MHZ then too, what is ur RAM voltage, and timings
