My old laptop recently died due to the CPU fried up..and is junk so its time for a new one..

How are these, do any of you have one?

Low priced one...

but for the same specs with a 17inch + win xp

Here we have an AMD single-core @ 2ghz CPU, 1gb ram for $818 and a Geforce chipset..

Cheaper one but unknown about the brand name..but it does have an AMD mobile X2 @ 1.60 ghz and a Geforce 7600 + 1gb ram

I already have a "legit" copy of xp and can format the hard drives and dl the drivers from the site easy.. Hard to find a decent laptop with XP on it :bang head

I just need something with at least a GB of ram, a fast CPU.. nothing into hard drive space or all that other fancy junk just something faster than my old Toshiba Satelite A70 Intel Pentium 4 H/T @ 1.8ghz and only 312mb ram

What do any of you guys think from the choices that I have listed?

I would not recommend any of those and get something that will last. Look for a used IBM Thinkpad, like a T42, or T43. The Pentium M's are quite fast for normal tasks and the old T4X line was built like a tank. Scope out ebay for some good deals.
