Wow, thanks for the idea. I am doing the same and was going to just eat the restocking fee. I'm talking to Amy at newegg right now! hehe.

Although, I'm going from 680i to P35 (opposite direction).

edit: Amy: I will waive the restocking fee on the RMA. You will receive a revised email of your RMA.

yay! Newegg is great, this is the 2nd restocking fee I've had waived in less than 2 weeks. They let me order a new 8800GTX that was artifacting and waived the return fee on the one I sent back. Wow, amazing.
