I'm tired of the 3059s giving me 2100PPD from my quad. I think I'm just gonna WinSMP everything and leave it alone.

Here are the benchmarks fahmon has kept on them on my quads.
All the rigs except the p5k, ds3r and ds3l are running ~ 3.0 +/- .1 and are either q6600's running 9 multi or x3210 running 8.

The ds3l, ds3r and p5k are running 3.24 -3.33.

Where you see ppd's ~ 1500, that is because of running another smp instance.

So the new job transition period started this week...which so far seems to mean alot of meetings.

I planned to take today off for my 30th Bday but we had a vendor doing training for an application that I will support.....sat through 8 hours of training today.

Plus side is that for that particular application, I"ll actually have some formal training. Alot of the other apps will be a "trial by fire" method.

Good news, though. Because of the raise I went from 0% 403b contribution to 15% :D

Yep ... moving up the org means more meetings ... and the farther you move the more it happens.

Very much like moving from the tail on the dog that is always wagged, to the head where you control some of the wagging ... you get to influence what others do instead of only being told what to do ... and along with the risks (and sometimes headaches) associated with that come the rewards :D

Enjoy the new career :)

So I have to work Monday (was already scheduled for Labor Day) and I ask how my pay will work. Assumed my new pay rate might start this week, for sure next. But if I work labor day then I take tuesday and wednesday off, and since they're crazy about OT this time of year, half of thursday off as well (Monday is a 12+ hour shift).

So then they tell me they decided to start my new pay rate effective 8/20/07. LOL.

How can I get up in the morning? I know, it's a tough life I live. :D

Cha-Ching! Bringing in the sheaves we will be rejoicing bringing in the sheaves.

This is a little something we sing at my poker games when one player is bringing in all the pots.
