Looking into a tablet for music composition

Hey guys. I've been looking into getting a tablet/PDA/UMPC so that I can have a touchscreen for music composition. I've looked at the Nokia n800, and it seems to have everything I need in the interface, except that I don't know if there's any music composition software compatible with the platform.

Is there a different linux tablet with similar capabilities that's a more open, or developed platform? Or barring that are there any windows devices in a similar price range?

Or hell, could someone point me to a place where I could research all this stuff myself?
