Q6600 Heat question

i am overclokin my q6600 to 2.88 I got this heatsink My Cput temp is @ 55C is that a good temp for a Quad core ?
Download CoreTemp 0.95, this will give you your temps for all cores. If your QUAD is running around 60C on load, you should be fine.

Is this a B3 or G0 stepping?
Temps are ok right now but seem a bit high to me for only 2.88GHz. What are u using to measure temps?

yes that is very hot especially for idle. I would keep it off until you get thermal compound

it put it back to the orginal clock but is this hot for a q6600
As said by others, get some Artic Silver 5 and you'll see a huge drop in temps
