Bad P3V4X from ASUS

I had RMA 2 P3V4X boards a while back and after 2 months finally got the 2 replacements. Well They are both bad! They both give this error (error writing to ESCD) which i sure it can't write an update to the bios chip. I never had a problem with ASUS before but maybe they aren't testing these boards before sending them out. I guess i have to call them up again.

Is ASUS still producing these boards???
Hmmm....i never had any problems with mine...but maybe the new ones are just bad....ASUS sure hasnt been meeting my expectation recently...

They have been replacing the older boards with new ones with less clock adjustments. The last 4 i received were these type.

yeah, the old models (mine will go up to 166mhz FSB), and the new models only go to 150mhz FSB

i have one of the older ones and i think its dying on me...does ASUS have a 3 year warrantee?

forget it, it was my cpu wouldnt boot in my dads bx mobo either, right now im running a PIII450@585
