Diff between 8800 gts and 8800 gtx?

Hi all,

The title pretty much says it all-is it worth the $70 or so difference to step up from the gts to a gtx?

I don't remember each and every spec, but for $70 yes. Off the top of my head...

GTX GTS
384bit 320bit
768mb 640/320mb


And faster clocks on the GTX. I'm sure it has more processors or w/e they call them.


I think the real question here is should you upgrade to GTX or ultra!

Yeah, I'm 60% decided to just pop for the cheapest ultra newegg has, which happens to also be both the cheapest I can find and the fastest clocked one I can find. It's $600. BUT, I only play dx9 games, as I don't plan to "upgrade" to vista. Will I be giving up much of the card's advantage over other cards by not using dx10?

v8440: I just bought 8800GTX and now im looking forward for GeForce 9xxx series .
