He is talking about a processor he already has, which is a 630, which is 90nm prescott not 65nm. Also, 65nm is Cedar-Mill core NOT Prescott so I'm really not sure what point you're trying to make... This is about Prescott vs. Northwood.
Oops, I meant 90 when I said 65; I fixed that above... the 65's of course are even better.
My point still stand, if he has a Prescott 630 from the last few years then it has the same TDP as a Northwood of the same frequency; so there is no thermal difference.
Only if he has a very early Prescott will it run hot.
