Does anyone know how to wire two power supplies to one motherboard? They are both ATX. Do they make a y-adaptor for the ATX motherboard power connector? That would work, right?

No, that probably wont work since it that will be giving more power than needed . (eg..12V for one, 24V with two..)

If you want it so they both turn on at the same time with the press of one button, get a 12V relay from ratshack (you've got questions, we've got blank stares)

Or cut, in the middle the green and a black wire from each, connect them, then connect them to oneset of cords and plug that into the mobo.

Drawing did not come out

(im no good at drawing!)

Good method to do this is here . It has photos showing how, and doesn't require cutting into your PSU wires. I have used this successfully a couple of times.
