Is it possible to edit the boot menu for mandrake so that windows is the default selection? Does anyone know where that executablke id or is it is in autoexec or what because i cannot find it.

Yes, this can be done. I don't have Linux on my boxes atm, I've been fighting Win probs. So I can't find the dang file and my memory doesn't work this early in the AM--sorry! I'm waking up, yay.

Look for "etc/lilo.conf" . It's in the /etc folder. You may be able to figger it out if you study it for a while, but a Help file or Linux or Mandrake manual would come in right handy at this point.

There's probably an easier way to do what you wanna do, but Mandrake doesn't like me and I don't know how it "adjusts" this file the easy way.

You might post this Q in the "alternative os" Topic Heading. Could help.
