i was testing a mates cpu (p2-300) on my BH-6 earlier.

it started up, then shut itself down

since then, any cpu i have tried in the board has failed to POST, including known good ones

the RAM is also fine and i have tried two video cards, one AGP and one PCI

so the mobo is dead? right?

It sure doesn't sound good. Are you sure that the psu didn't go belly-up, though? That's the only other thing that I can think of right off-hand that could be a possible problem also.

Two PSU's tried...

it really does look like the board is dead :(

shame really

Mine died too during a CPU swap. The only thing I have not replaced is the Slotket, but since I no longer have the original CPU, I wont be bothering.

Is there a graveyard for BH6 v1.0 motherboards?

If there is, mine's not ready for it yet, it's still kickin' butt!
