450FSB x8.0 = 3.6ghz @1.376v (Orthos temp 47C above ambient - stock intel cooler)
450FSB x8.5 = 3.8ghz @1.432v (stock intel cooler)
333FSB x8.5 = 2.8ghz @1.07v (water cooled)

I really hope thats a board limitation.

err nvm thinking of another board...

its x38 so it shouldnt be a motherboard limitation since x38 ocs to the same levels of P35 but still something is up....

It's an ES on the stock cooler. 'nuff said.

still though if he dropped the multi to try a higher fsb it should have worked. same board different cpu 550mhz fsb.
