this isn't the first amd cpu to hit 4ghz, this is just the first 65nm amd cpu to hit 4ghz, phenom is 65nm...

at the same time, the architecture is completely differnt. Perhaps with the innovations they've gained from being able to 'fix' these old 65nm parts they could potentially create a new stepping for barcelona, but it doesn't mean that just beccause we've got a 4ghz brisbane means we will see a 4ghz barcelona.
 
what does barcelona have to do with this? are you gonna build barcelona-based system to overclock with dice to try and reach 4ghz? no, phenom? maybe, but hey, phenom is quad-core, not dual-core...... spin it how u want, it's the 65nm process we're talking about

and there will be a b3 stepping for k10, and i'll bet eventually, there'll be another new stepping...
