Having problems picking out a domain name for my blog.

I was just throwing random, possible domain names that came into my mind into the GoDaddy domain search, and all of them are taken!
What's worse is that they're taken by these...websites which are basically aggregations of links and ads...
    For example, this:
    http://www.angrygamer.com/
    http://www.gamingsense.com/
I don't understand the purpose of these websites...they just seem like ad cows...and there's thousands of them...

Yes, people create them to make money, that is all. If you click anywhere on the page, someone makes money off of it.

People actually click on them lol?
It just seems like a shallow partitioning of the internet...

Yes. You ever see those commercials for "making money fast by using the internet", that is one of them.

Think of it more as real estate. They own the domain (aka the real estate), and hold until the value goes up enough to sell or use.

Arg, this is making me so angry literally every name I come up with that doesn't involve a dash is taken up by these lame squatters, or whatever they're called...
I come up with a name that I think is brilliant and then bam it's taken
