Sorry if this question is a little off but i have been away from the game for a while due to work...

Anyhow i am picking up a LG laptop
http://ca.lge.com/en/products/model/detail/r700expressdualseries_r700x.ap01a9.jhtml

As its a Santa Rose Platform thus is has EFI...

Or does its only have that as an option and the Maker chose to supply EFI or the traditional BIOS?

Reason I ask as in theory and do correct me if I am wrong, but....
I should be able to load OSX up on this thing without any modding right?

Might be fun to play with in a dual boot config along with XP.
Vista goes the day i pick this guy up

Even if it did work, unfortunately its illegal, and you don't have a TPM anyway.

Yes, EFI is only part of the equation. OS X looks for a TPM chip. Once it find the chip and makes sure it is valid, only then will it boot / allow you to install.

ah more to the equation.
Just wondering if it would have been that easy.
