I've got 4GB of Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) and it's running at 400 Mhz instead of 800. Is the 400 doubled to 800 because of the RAM being dual channel or do I still have to tweak it?

Turned off the AUTO timings and referred back to its stock timings at 4-4-4-12 but the system won't post. I've also turned off C1E and EIST. I lowered the OC to 266 FSB to see if that was another problem but even that doesn't work. Here are my CPU-Z screens. I'm not experienced in OCing, but my PC was running fine before my BIOS update. It never crashed or locked up.

hey sup, Im not familiar with intel overclocking, but what you asked is correct.
400 is the default & since its DDR its doubled, which = 800 mhz.
So your ram is running fine if it shows 400 in the cpu-z tab that you showed.

Thanks guys. I must have never gone to the Memory tab before. Just ran my Vista Index rating and it remained the same (5.7).
