I have a Dell Inspiron 2650 with a P4M 1.8ghz cpu. I've tried every temperature monitoring program I could think of including: speedfan, coretemp, hwmonitor, everest and motherboardmonitor. Nothing can find the temp of the cpu. I'm beginning to think that the cpu doesn't have a temperature diode or whatever. coretemp tells me that my cpu isn't "intel 'core' architecture" and all the other programs just don't show anything for the cpu. Any ideas?

Very good question, I have a Dell Dimension 8200 with a very similiar processor and I couldn't get a program to read temps either.
