hey all, this is wat i got. ive read the OC guide, and i get a general understanding of wat happens, i jst need alittle more assistance
could anyone tell me wat the time limit is for this chip is also?

am2 x2 4600+ EE
zalman CPNS9500
OCZ PC2-6400 2gb dual channel
asus crosshair m/b (do i need to get latest BIOS?)
idle temp 40-44
load temp ?(havent tried load yet)

Hard to tell what a chip can do the deviation can be more than 10% in oc even from the same stepping.

If you have an F3 stepping you should be able to reach 3G. ADO4600IAA5CZ is written on the cpu or ADO4600CZBOX on the box.

I recommend to check each component on its own by limiting the others as possible to see the limits of your parts.

Drop the multiplier and the memory as well to see the max of the motherboard.
Then set the memory to 800 and push the HT again from 200 to see how much the memory can take. Then set the multiplier to the maximum what the processor allows and see the end of the cpu.

What remains is to find the best combination for your ram and cpu which might mean its better to drop the multi lower so you can maxmize the ram.

kk kools, ive found some settings this guy did for his review you rkn i could jst cheat and go with them?

Successful Overclocks
* 2.4GHz using 1.216v (200 x 12)
* 2.532GHz using 1.216v (200 x 12)
* 2.58GHz using 1.23v (215 x 12)
* 2.62GHz using 1.26v (219 x 12)
* 2.68GHz using 1.41v (223 x 12)
* 2.76GHz using 1.46v (230 x 12)
* 2.85GHz using 1.46v (285 x 10) (One core stable only)

That seems to be an F2, better test for yourself as if yours is an F3 it might hit 3G on stock V, check the box or the top of the cpu, would help if you could post the numbers you see there.

where can i locate this number you speak of?
i fink i found wat ur talkn about ADO4600CUBOX

Then here is your processor. LINK

If you search for it these are the released processors based on F2 core. LINK

The high end models overclocked to 3G I think it is a safe bet to say is yours can do 2.6-2.8G.

4600+ to OC @ 3Ghz.

Multi set to x 11.0
1.420v
FSB 272
= 3Ghz stable.

30'c - 35'c for me.
