I recently put in my BE6 mb and noticed when I turn off my computer my optical mouse still has a light. Anyone know why?

this happens on my BE6-2 as well. obviously the PS2 +5volts is connected to the standby +5volts.

So its normal then for it to be like that? I just thought I my MB was acting up. Thankx for letting me know its not only me.

My keyboard's led used to be on after the shut down. So I flashed the bios with the latest bios and the problem disappered.
But that's with the keyboard, I don't know if it helps with the mouse.

If it keeps up, you might want to turn off the power supply.
The reason is your mouse will die an untimely death (light burning out).
I never owned an optical, but it would be prudent to make the light last as long as possible.
