yea a lack of flow thru the cpu/rads would be causing it. as per foot does as some loss of water flow.. from one of the articles on the main page for good cooling at least 1GPH flow rate needs to be maintained thru the loop. some blocks dont improve cooling wise with a flow rate higher then 1GPH. im going to lunch soon but i will look for those articles when i get back for you..
*edit*
i forgot to say that the loss of water flow will depend more on the pump then the amount of tubing.
Having a res doesnt help the issue either... i bet once you cut to the length you need for the wcing setup your temps will drop a touch more.
