I have an Ultra 120-extreme on my old build and that thing needed a lap, bad. I got ~10c drop from lapping it. On my old SLK700a the contact was great and it didn't need to be lapped.

My question is, do the TRUE Black-120's need lapped just as much/bad as the Ultra 120-extreme's? Or have they refined their process to make good contact points? Thanks!

Oh, and I would just lap it anyways but if it's for a 1-2 degree change, screw it. Not worth the time lol.

You will need to do a flatness test to see if it needs it.

My advice would be to install it and compare it to your current TRUE temps.

damn, guess I'll just lap it. I have all the stuff so shouldn't take too long, just a hassle, I want this beast together to see how it performs and what I can OC it to ASAP! haha
