how about existing sb750 boards? will amd give us some bios updates, such as an updated ACC with the new phenom II's
The breakdown of processors looks like this:
January 2009:
* Phenom II X4 940 at 3GHz, 8MB total cache using the AM2+ socket
* Phenom II X4 920 at 2.8GHz with 8MB of total cache on the AM2+ socket
February 2009:
* Phenom II X4 910 2.6GHz with 8MB total cache on the AM3 socket
* Phenom II X4 810 Phenom II X4 810 2.6GHz with 6MB total cache on the AM3 socket
* Phenom II X4 805 Phenom II X4 805 2.5GHz with 6MB total cache on the AM3 socket
* Phenom II X3 720 Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz with 7.5MB total cache on the AM3 socket

Yep, it is. I've seen some OC's as high as 2200 MHz compared to maybe 1300 MHz OC's for HT2 ...Wait what about HTT3? Is that fully working on the Phenom I?
what the heck?I've got an M3A79-T, which Asus is claiming to have AM3/DDR3 support with a bios update. With my phenom, im quite happy with the boards performance. Have run the northbridge at 2.5ghz w/o breaking a sweat. Im sure the phenom IIs will like that
I just hope that due to the board using pretty much all of the same stuff we already have that they take a little bit of time and fix a few of the problems that we have in the AM2+ line.
What have you seen that isn't "solid" ...?
Phenom II = Deneb (Desktop version of Shanghai)
Shanghai = Newest Opteron Server CPUs
Shanghai was the code named used while AMD was creating the CPU.
