Can someone please tell me whats a reasonable 3dmark score or what range a gaming computer should be at?

Thanks,

Mine is 15k on the rig in my system. Mine plays Crysis on High at about 30fps.

I think at least above 12k a gaming rig is pretty good. You get those numbers when you have a dual core or quad above 3.0ghz and a 8800GT or above or a ATI 4850 or 4870 or better.

IMO, a good 3dmark06 score is whatever you want it to be. Today, it is easier than ever to get into the high teens (17k+, etc).

Just for reference, I get about 7200 with my three year old rig. Yet, it still plays all the games I want it to reasonably well. I really want to get into Crysis and other DX10 games, though, so that is why I am upgrading.

My rig in my signature gets 20k. Plays crysis at 1680x1050 all very high with noAA

edit: at about 40-60 fps depending on how big of an area im in
