Just wanted to see if anyone was willing to share their VM SMP performance reports like we often do with GPU performance.
I'll start:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (G0) @ 2.81GHz
RAM: 8GB DDR2 @ 800MHz
Host OS: Vista Home Premium x64
VMWare Server 2 running 2x Debian 4.0r5 VMs w/ 2 CPUs each and 768MB RAM each.

Code:
 Project : 2675
 Core : SMP Gromacs CVS
 Frames : 100
 Credit : 1920

 -- VM2-Defiant --
 Min. Time / Frame : 11mn 39s - 2373.22 ppd
 Avg. Time / Frame : 12mn 10s - 2272.44 ppd

Code:
 Project : 2669
 Core : SMP Gromacs CVS
 Frames : 100
 Credit : 1920

 -- VM1-Defiant --
 Min. Time / Frame : 11mn 53s - 2326.62 ppd
 Avg. Time / Frame : 12mn 12s - 2266.23 ppd

Total PPD (FahMon): 4504.76
Not counting my GPU, of course.

How do you generate the Min. Time / Frame and Avg. Time / Frame? I maybe able to post when i get home.

I'm also running my X3210 @ 2.8Ghz.. But i get around 15-16 min / frame running two instance of VM. 1st VM is using core 0/1 and second is using core 1/2. 3rd core is used by GPU. I'm using XP.
Your running your 2 VM's in 0/1 and 2/3 and GPU in 3 right?

Yeah, I'm doing 0/1, 2/3, and 3 for GPU since in Vista the GPU client only uses about 8-10% of CPU.

The frame times are under Tools > Benchmarks in FahMon.
