Okay i have:

OCZ Reaper HPC 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2RPR10664GK

DFI LP DK X48-T2RSB PLUS LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard

I need some help with setting up the timings as i am not really familiar with this board and i dont wanna screw anything up...I also cant get it into dual channel..also the Processor is

Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 Wolfdale 3.33GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80570E8600

The processor in Win Vista 64 is showing up as 3.0 instead of the stock 3.33...anyone able to help me out? i could really use a walk through on setting this up for the best performance.

Thanks in advance

I'm running the same Mobo and CPU as you but have the same questions. I know the max FSB for our ram is 1066/2 = 533

hmm..

To verify it is running at 3.33 use cpu-z to make sure. if its running @ 3.0 that means you need to go into the bios and set the system specs..even stock speeds..the dfi boards just give u enough to boot and stability.but .as far as memory timings go..if ur not overclocking i would set the timings to the default of whatever ur ram is..usually for 1066 ram timings are set to 555152t with 2.1vdimm...but now if u want to overclock ..u have to 1st get fsb stable..then tighten ur timings...on dfi board..i believe the auto settings leaves them at 55518....now the next thing..if ur overclocking...what is the speed ur trying to achieve..then we can help you out more..on my dfi dk t2rs..i have to play with ram dividers in order to get stable in my sig you can see my system specs..i know on the dfi boards things can be confusing and somewhat intimidating..for now just play around with what u know..dont give up Use this template to input ur bios specs
