A few months ago, the battery in my Asus M6ne started giving very strange readings. It is rated for 14.8V and 4400mah, however all software readings say it is at 17V, also the capacity readings are too high. Also, the laptop claims to have several days of power when running on battery, only to stop working after a few hours.
