Thinking about an E8500

Picked up a UD3P board and an 8500 before. It will be up and running in an hour or so.

I need to modify the board and prepare it for the watercooling mount.

Board is DOA. I'm getting random restarts and now i can't even boot a hard drive. The processor and mb are going back and i'll start a new tomorrow.

Does this processor not like DDR2 800?

Dunno - I'm running 1066 stuff myself. Might need to bump the voltage; I think it's set to 1.8v out of the box IIRC.

Thats what i'm thinking as well. I like the processor from what i've seen so far
