Folding in Diamond Bar
Ok I picked up this card for a lan today since my 285 hasnt made it in yet but I keep getting a device cannot start code 10 error under vista SP1 x64. I tried running the latest drivers, swapping pci-e slots, less ram, disabling onboard stuff on the mobo. Windows just shows it as a standard vga adapter with the yellow exclamation.

Specs:
XFX 4890 1GB
MSI P6N Diamond (680i chipset)
Raptor 150GB
2.0 Ghz C2D
8GB DDR800

i get the same thing in windows 7 (32bit)

i think the 9.3's are junk. i moved to xp 32bit and the 9.3's wouldnt work there either - i had to install the 9.21's off the disk that came with it.

Hmm I may check those out for kicks. I ended up picking up another 285 since it was on sale at my local frys. Currently the 4890 is just sitting in its box on my desk. :(

You can try returning it, why did you buy all of that for anyway?
OR, you could start folding? :p
