I need help setting up QOS on my Dlink DIR-628 router.

Basically for my work I move alot of files over FTP, the problem is that it kills my internet connection for anyone else hoping to use the internet. Last night I tried setting up QOS, I am not sure if its correct since part of the time the internet seemed to work but then other times it would time out loading pages like google.

Heres what I have so far.

You have the priority set too high on the FTP entry. Being that its right up there with the internet, its gonna suck up alot of bandwidth. Id set it to the lowest (255) priority, that way it doesnt interfere with anything else. I set all of my file-transfer type ports as the lowest priority.
