Your wishes might be granted if you have been looking forward to something new for a fan but not in ugly noctua colors.

Back in November we already reported about the TFC Triebwerk (see: TFC Triebwerk: The ultimate radiator fan?). The fans are designed to pull as much air through a PC radiator as possible. Because of this the fan blades are 37 millimeters high, while common fans usually have an overall height (inclusive the frame) of 25 millimeters - the Triebwerk is impressive 55 millimeters high. TFC - The Feser Company is cooperating with the fan specialists of Blacknoise who offer the popular Blacknoise Multiframe, a quiet and powerful fan.

Yes these are 12cm fans. ;)

Oh, wow? 35$? Screw that. TFC is expensive for rads, and for fans as well it seems. At least they're for a specific purpose.

What the crap is wrong with the colors on a Noctua fan? If the fans are inside the case, you won't be seeing it anyway, so who cares what the colors are?
I can get better CFM with only 7db more noise and FDB with an S-Flex F for less than half the price of the TFC fan.
I can get ~6 CFM less airflow with 1db less noise and SSO from Noctua for nearly half the price of the TFC fan. The Noctua also includes rubber mounts, for even more noise reduction.
The TFC uses sleeve bearings, according to all information I can find. All information I can find tells me that sleeve bearing are quiet, but are not durable, and become noticeably noisier as the fan ages. Both the Noctua and Scythe fans have the new fluid-supported bearings. I can't find the pressure numbers on the Scythe, but the Noctua has better pressure than the TFC. What exactly is the purpose of this TFC fan, other than wasting space with its additional height? If their fan requires 55mm, yet Noctua can provide better performance, at lower cost, in a 25mm package, I think they need to redesign from scratch...

Seriously don't share any more knowledge that comes from Noctua packing. Average room is around 14-15db so if you can hear a fan then it is not 7db. Also Noctua fans suck, repalce it with similar cfm fan on a heatsink and you can get around 2C lower temps.

They don't suck. Replace it with a similar CFM fan with a different method of moving air might improve temps by 2 degrees centigrade? You're saying a fan I got for free sucks becuase if I pay more I can drop my temps by 2C? 2C? That's the difference between certain thermal pastes, and we discount those findings because it's within the margin of error.

Come back when you got something to say, after all, we're about results, not mindless and pointless blathering. Yes, noctua fans are not high performers, but you're hard pressed to find a better performing fan at the RPM rating.
