Stick to the game plan and wait till boxing day where hopefully the GTX 295 is cheaper and i get that?

As well i wanna know what the big deal about having more memory on video cards does this mean i can have better AA etc? Also let me know which one has better over clocking capabilities cause i will over clock :)

The X2 will be faster than the 275. More memory helps high resolutions.

If you want to play in resolutions over 1920x1200 with all the eye candy, then more memory will help. Otherwise if you play in no more than 1680x1050, then more memory wont help as much.

on a 19" monitor 1400*900 max, my 4870 plays any game on max settings: Farcry 2, Empire total war, dawn of war 2! SSAO, AA, field of depth everything on max!

I couldnt even buy that x2 card as at my resolution it would be a waste, even a 512mb x2 wouldnt be worth it for me at my res!
