System specs:

DFI UT LanParty nF4 Ultra-D motherboard.
AMD 4800+ processor.
4 1gig Kingston Value Ram memory modules.

I have Vista Ultimate 64bit installed on a 250 Segate 410 along with Adobe CS4 Master Suite.

What I would like to do is take 2 80gig WD drives and make a RAID-0 array to use as the scratch disk.

Seems RAID-0 would be better for the reads and writes compared to a single 80gig.

Do I need to do the floppy RAID driver thing, load Vista on the 2 80gig WD's and then change the boot disk back to the Segate 410 and hope Vista see's it ???

Just never done this before and could use some help.

Why would you need to do that? Set up the RAID 0 drives in the RAID utility, then boot into Windows, load the raid controller drivers, and then just change your app settings so scratch disk is on the RAID 0 setup.
