file sorting software

I've got 130+g of photos which includes several versions of back up files and other duplicates. Is there some software that will sort through and find duplicates so I can 'clean up' my storage. I've been compounding the problem and ordered a new NAS device and want to sort everything before I start backing up again. It's almost impossible to find specific files as the back ups were incremental and photos are scattered over numerous file locations.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

FileMaster should do that. I've had a copy on my flash drive for years, it is a great program. Not sure if it will do what you are looking for, but I'm sure it does.

if u in linux, rsync will do that
