My taskbar looks like this

. This is not my video but it is the same problem I am having and I just can not find a fix. Please Help

Looks like a video card or driver issue.

you don't have the visual effects turned off, do you? check in system -> advanced system settings -> performance.

Kinda looks more like a user account permission problem. It the account you are showing a in the video a modifyed admin/guest account? do you have antivirus? Is the evaluation copy you have leagal and activated?

Has it been like this since you installed it? Are you having this problem in the release version or in one of the beta builds? Have you had this problem on consecutive installs?

It looks to me like a corrupt install. Even Limited accounts should allow you basic taskbar access.

i personally would just re-install rather than trying to find the specific cure to that .. just a preference but if you have that problem you may have more .. and the hours involved trying to pinpoint really ends up being a waste of time
