This is for a potential build for a client of mine.

The mobo will be a P35 or P45. Processor is Intel Q9550.

What features does the mobo need to support 2 video cards, 2 monitors per video card?

No gaming or special video needs other than running 4 monitors. Thanks

I guess if you want to be particular about it sure. But its not a requirement. For Nvidia, it just needs to match cores. It doesnt matter if its EVGA or XFX or ERTHDG brand, they will play well together.

Not to mention, he isnt going to SLI/Crossfire so that, I would imagine, would put even less honus on the brand since they are rendering two completely different things.

Grab a couple of http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133245 and you're all set. No need to bother with fancy PCIe cards at all, although you could save a few bucks putting http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814187087 in along with one of the regular PCI cards.
