I don't have the weekly ad but it's back!

It's $169.99 for the retail box Q8200 + EP45-UD3P and there's a $20 rebate.

It's an 'ok' deal. I would much rather go for an i5+mobo combo for $50 more. They seem to have them frequently.

There's an i3 + P55 combo for $179 with $20 rebate, but it's dual core and the motherboard doesn't have Sata III, and it's a mATX.

Here's the thing about this combo-
If you sell the processor, you're getting a EP45-UD3P for free, which is a fantastic S775 motherboard.

Even if you don't, you're essentially getting an EP45-UD3P for free, because the CPU alone is worth $170. The EP45-UD3P is a full size, crossfire ready motherboard that's very good. Most Fry's CPU/Motherboard deals are with mATX gimped feature boards.

For those who still have DDR2 lying around, this is a good deal to stay on Socket 775 and get all the bells and whistles. Not everyone needs/wants SATA III or a Core i5.

Um... I dont know about that Q8200 being $170. I mean microcenter sells the Q9550 for $169 so I would consider that Q8200 to be of lower value. Just my opinion XD
