I bought the last fry's combo with a Gigabyte board, a little more money but has USB 3.0 (altho I think it brings my PCI-E to 8x when you use it).

I bought this combo just in case one of my friends wanted it, none of them came up with money.

I returned it...it was 223 after tax and before 20 dollar rebate.

I didn't apply for the $20 rebate because it stated that it could not be used in conjunction with other promotions. I think it even said, if you purchased this at frys you need to attach a reciept where it shows how much the total cost was.

So I just "ASSUMED" it would not work. Is this not true? I think today is the last day to use it.
