IMNSHO, CSF beats the pants off of APF.

Yeah there's that too...

CSF you have a few things you need to remember to prevent locking yourself out :temper:

CSF is awesome for Direct Admin / cPanel based servers though once you get it set up :)

Never used it as a stand alone though so can't comment on it's UI by itself.

All the cPanel "UI" does is display the text content of the .conf files, and replace any line that isn't a comment (starting with #) with a text input to set the value of an option. You can edit those files by hand whether you're using cPanel or not.

Small update
Like i said nothing illegal.
I will not be hosting from home, it will be from work with a business IP package or whatever is needed to be 100% legit.

Turnkey was supper easy for a proof of concept phpBB board.

Next i started playing with Zimbra...
Well the amount of manual setting up you need to do makes that turnkey install worthless.
So doing a real linux install and adding it in by hand now.

Boss want easy to manage if i am gone like i said before....
So it does look like the VM option is the easiest to do as you can back the entire VM up.
If something does go wrong, just use a backup.
