OK probably too much info there but well you can take what you wish

Before i go into the overclock bit id like to know if you think it would be worth updating my chipset drivers, as this all started today with me wanting to make sure everything was up to scratch on the pc when i did gfx drivers, i found some v185.5 drivers for my mobo from may 2009, do you know if there are any more recent ones and is it worth installing them, same with updating the bios, i know sometimes updating these things can lead to problems that do not offset well against the benefits gained.

What sections on my bios would i need to change to overclock and in what stages, are there any dangers? As before when i did overclock my bios was much more simple than this one (which has many more options im unsure about) and if i did it too high the system would simply not boot, so it was fairly simple to see how high i could go. However on this bios the added features confuse me as to what i should change, id like to max out all options available to me as long as its safe..

Also can i overclock ram and such in bios?? I have never done this...(also i think i have ram set up in most efficient way but unsure) and is it worthwhile?

Same with the Graphics Card/GPU can/how would i overclock my model and once again is this advised or worthwhile???

I did some OCCT tests on my system (only for 20mins as i had to go out, was this enough time?) At present CPU1 reached 40 max temp and CPU2 reached 32 dc, GPU temps were also included quite low on average around 30 but this was not put under load, v core stayed around 1.35v...

Hope thats all info you will need i will post anymore required, heard you can sometimes get a good increase out of the amd dual cores so im interested to hear back and also the comments on my other questions..

    Thanks again!

Yes, reading through the AM2 thread (at least the first few posts) will get you on your way to OC'ing your system. I know there's a lot of detail there but try to trudge through as best you can. Most important go through the little testing routines. There are specific instructions on what to set and navigating around in the BIOS, getting comfortable with it, is almost as important as the tests themselves.

If you have questions, and most people do, post back with them and we'll try to answer. And remember "The only stupid question is the one you don't ask!" ...
